Japan Relief Shirt by Kenzo Minami
LIMITED EDITION OF 269
NYC-based artist Kenzo Minami is an old friend, and has painted in the rooms of Ace Hotel Portland and NYC. He's created a custom shirt for our online shop to raise money for relief efforts in Japan -- 100% of proceeds will be donated to the Real Medicine Foundation. Here's what the shirt's about, in Kenzo's words:
"It is about 'Re:' in terms of 'Reply' -- our reply to the tsunami and our response to Japan (which is this charity itself and collectively to help the world and give on a larger scale). Also, Japan will need a lot of 'Re____' from now on: 'Rebuild,' 'Restart,' 'Reboot,' 'Recharge' and more."
Also available for purchase at Ace Hotels and at select Rudy's Barbershop locations.
